Nabana no Sato | Japan's Largest Flower and Light Fantasy Nabana no Sato
Tokai Region "Mie Prefecture - Nabana no Sato"
Japan's Largest Flower and Light Fantasy
Approximately 40 minutes from Nagoya. Introducing a dreamlike space where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and world-class illumination.
What is Nabana no Sato?
Located in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, "Nabana no Sato" is one of Japan's largest botanical gardens operated by Nagashima Resort.
Beautiful flowers bloom all year round, such as tulips in spring and cosmos and dahlias in autumn. In particular, the illumination held from winter to spring boasts such popularity that it has repeatedly won first place in Japan's night view rankings.
Overwhelming Scale of the "Tunnel of Light"
The symbol of Nabana no Sato is the "Tunnel of Light (Hana Kairo)," which spans 200 meters.
While using the latest LED technology, the attention to detail is phenomenal, with each bulb shaped like a "petal." Walking wrapped in warm light gives you a moving experience, as if you have wandered into another world.
In addition, the "Begonia Garden" in the park is climate-controlled, making it an "Everlasting Paradise" where you can enjoy large flowers in full bloom even in the middle of winter.
Features of Nabana no Sato
The biggest feature is the fusion of "Flowers," "Light," and "Food."
After strolling through the vast grounds, you can enjoy local beer at the "Nagashima Beer Garden" or soothe your fatigue at the natural hot spring "Sato no Yu."
Take photos with vivid flower fields in the daytime, watch the lighting ceremony at sunset, and get intoxicated by the shining illumination at night. You can spend a luxurious time enjoying two or three different atmospheres in a single visit.
There are also areas where the main theme changes every season, designed so that even repeat visitors never get bored.
Nabana no Sato Recommended Course
We recommend visiting Nabana no Sato from the afternoon to evening.
Here is the best route to enjoy both the daytime scenery and the nighttime illumination.
First, Fill Your Stomach
Immediately on your right after entering is Nagashima Beer Garden, and in front are the restaurant "Marseille" and cafe "Cafe La Terrace." There are also Japanese and Chinese restaurants nearby.
Since the park is very large and involves a lot of walking, we recommend enjoying delicious drinks, meals, or desserts first before sightseeing.
Begonia Garden
Passing through the restaurant area, you will find the "Begonia Garden," a huge indoor garden that Nabana no Sato boasts.
Hundreds of varieties and over 10,000 begonias gathered from all over the world will welcome you. There are many photo spots, so let's take lots of commemorative photos!
Illumination Area
After passing through the Begonia Garden, you will reach the Illumination Area featuring the "Tunnel of Light" [Hana Kairo].
Enjoy Japan's largest illumination to the fullest, chosen as a spectacular view you want to see at least once in your life.
*Illumination is a limited-time event from autumn to early May.
