The Soul of Craftsmanship — Toyota Automobile Museum
這個行程的特別之處
The Car Gallery of the Toyota Automobile Museum isn't a brand showroom — it traces the whole story of the motor car, from brass-era pioneers to the cars your parents drove. The collection is beautifully kept, and you're free to take your time.
In the Cultural Gallery you see how the automobile changed the way people live — through posters, model cars and other pieces that reveal the car as more than a machine. A calm, thoughtful counterpoint to the halls of vehicles.
After the museum, lunch on the way back. Nagoya has its own food culture, and this is the moment to try it — rich grilled eel over rice, or pork cutlet under sweet miso. Your call.

總覽
A self-paced day at the Toyota Automobile Museum, tracing the story of Japanese motoring, with a plate of Nagoya's own food on the way back.
If you like the idea of seeing where things are actually made, this is your day. Aichi is the workshop of Japan — the car industry grew up here — and the Toyota Automobile Museum in Nagakute lays that whole story out in one place.
The Car Gallery lines up a hundred years of automobiles, from brass-era pioneers to modern classics, while the Cultural Gallery shows how the car reshaped how people live. No rushing — take as long as you like. We handle the driving and the doors; you just take it in, at your own pace, with a proper Nagoya lunch on the way back.
- Great for: design and engineering fans, curious travellers, families
- Good to know: lunch is on your own so you can choose what you fancy — we'll point you to the good stuff
- Travelling solo? This price is for two or more — ask us and we'll quote a one-person rate
We pick you up from your hotel, a station in Nagoya, or Chubu Centrair Airport, and head out for the day.
Around three hours to wander at your own pace at the museum in Nagakute — the Car Gallery traces cars from the early 1900s to today, and the Cultural Gallery shows how the car reshaped everyday life. Japanese, American and European, not only Toyotas — a real treat even if you're not a car person.
On the way back we stop for lunch and you pick the Nagoya specialty you've been curious about — hitsumabushi (grilled eel) or miso-katsu are the usual favourites.
Back to your hotel, station or the airport, whichever suits your plans.

How long is the day, and is it good for families?
About five hours, with roughly three hours at the Toyota Automobile Museum and then the lunch stop afterwards. The pace is easy and you wander the museum at your own speed, so it suits families and curious travellers alike.
