Medical & Wellness in Japan
What makes this tour special
The "Ningen Dock" is Japan's thorough, one- or two-day health check — the kind that goes looking for trouble before you ever feel unwell. It's a long-standing habit here, offered at more than 1,700 places and used by around 3.7 million people a year.
A health check is no place for guesswork in a second language. Our interpreter is with you from check-in to the final consultation, so you always know exactly what's being said and asked.
Appointments, the clinic booking, private transfers, the schedule around your screening — we arrange all of it. You don't chase paperwork or phone numbers; you just turn up.
A health check sits more easily inside a comfortable few days. We can keep it simple and quiet, or add a little of central Japan around it — whatever helps you feel looked after.

Overview
A thorough health check (the Japanese "Ningen Dock") at a partner clinic in Nagoya, with a bilingual coordinator and medical interpreter handling everything — so you can simply focus on you.
In Japan, the idea behind a health check is to go looking for any trouble before you ever feel unwell. It's such an ordinary habit here that it has a name — the Ningen Dock — and we can arrange exactly this kind of check-up for you at a partner clinic in Nagoya.
The hard part of doing this in a country whose language you don't speak is everything around the medical part: booking the right clinic, understanding the questions, knowing what the results actually mean. That's our job. A bilingual coordinator plans the whole thing, a medical interpreter stays with you through the examinations and the consultation, and a private car gets you where you need to be. You focus on you; we carry the rest.
We can keep it to a tight, efficient couple of days, or wrap a calm bit of central Japan around it — an onsen, a quiet temple, an unhurried lunch. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll shape the days to suit.
- Good for: health-conscious travellers, returning visitors, anyone who wants a thorough peace-of-mind check-up
- Good to know: the exact tests depend on the clinic and the plan you choose — share what you're after and we'll match you to the right one
- Good to know: we coordinate and interpret, but we don't provide medical advice or treatment ourselves, and we can't promise specific medical results — the doctors do the medicine
- Price: there's no fixed package price — tell us your dates and group size and we'll quote the coordination clearly
We meet you at Chubu Centrair Airport or your hotel and bring you into Nagoya by private car. A relaxed first day to settle in before anything medical begins.
Your check-up at one of our partner clinics. Depending on the plan you choose, this can include scans such as MRI, CT and endoscopy alongside the standard examinations — usually one full morning, sometimes spread across a day or two.
A medical interpreter stays with you for the check-in, the examinations and every conversation with staff, so nothing gets lost between languages.
You sit down with a doctor to go through your results, with the interpreter beside you. We help you understand what the findings mean and what, if anything, to discuss with your own doctor back home.
If you'd like, we fold in a calm day around central Japan — an onsen, a quiet temple, a slow lunch. Entirely up to you.
Private transfer back to the airport or your next stop, with your report and documents in hand.
